This Is Where Most People Slip

Day 5 of Ramadan: You’re Not Behind

Bismillah.

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكاتُه,

It’s Day 5 of Ramadan.

And if you’re already feeling behind…
This is for you.

Maybe you missed tahajjud.
Maybe your khushoo hasn’t been there.
Maybe you’re still scrolling more than you want to.
Maybe you thought you’d be “better” by now.

But listen carefully:

Ramadan is not about being perfect.
It’s about returning.

And Allah is not asking you to transform overnight.
He’s asking you to keep coming back.

Five days ago, you had 30 days ahead of you.
Now you still have 25.

That’s 25 chances to make a sincere du’a.
25 chances to pray with more focus.
25 chances to choose Qur’an over your phone.
25 chances to soften your heart.

Don’t let Shaytan convince you that because you didn’t start “strong,” you can’t finish strong.

The best part of Ramadan might still be ahead of you.

Today, choose ONE thing:
• Pray one salah slower than usual.
• Make one du’a you’ve been delaying.
• Read even one page of Qur’an with intention.
• Give one small act of charity.

Small consistency > dramatic bursts.

And remember:

Allah sees the effort no one else sees.
The struggle.
The guilt.
The intention to do better.

You are not behind.
You are still invited.

May Allah allow us to reach Laylatul Qadr in our best state and forgive our shortcomings. Ameen.
